I have received an e- mail from a Brittany Cooke a member of the deal or no deal team which read
Congratulations you have been selected to be a contestant on deal or no deal, which I was very excited about however the line below indicated click on here to confirm you invitation of which I did only to be redirected to a compatition site ( this was on my iPad) which was trying to enter me in a compatition through a mobile phone no where on there to just confirm invitation, following the same steps on my pc from the same e- mail further steps were blocked by malicious URL, can anybody please help with this as I don’t want to miss out on the next stage of the application & would like to prevent anyone else from receiving ( if this is bogas) disappointing results. Thank you Paula :)

Someone on here the other day posted a message saying that they got a fake email.

What was the email address from the sender?

Hi Biboo99

That would have been a bogus e mail DOND will always phone people up and before they get invited to an audition they are then asked a few questions over the phone then if they think you are the sort of person that they are looking for to be on the show they invite you to an audition. So you haven't missed out just be patient and wait for the call.

Thank you for coming on here to alert other people about this sort of scam I do know that someone else came on here and said the same thing happened to them.

Good luck on getting on the show

Best wishes

Welf ;)

Hi Paula

You are very welcome. As I said before good luck hope you get that call soon. Meanwhile why not join us mad lot in the fun and banter on here and in out 250,000 prediction of the day game where we guess which box the 250,000 in in each day ladies against the men.

I'm sure that you will be made most welcome

Best wishes

Welf ;)

This is a spam email and is not associated with Deal or No Deal. Any email offering freebies in exchange for the completion of a survey or competition question is a technique used by marketing websites to obtain your personal details which will then be passed on to other companies. I would strongly advise against clicking on any of these emails.

If an application is taken further you are contacted by phone.

Thanks for pointing this issue out.

Hi Pugsbysara

Welcome to the forum and thank you for coming on here to warn people about this scam. I had to edit the address out because of forum rules.

Best wishes

Welf ;)
