I know what you mean, Tw'dee. It's a daily slog for me too, trying to keep my weight down. It's odd really because I walk everywhere and eat small & healthily, but I still have a job to find my waistline!

ROB's game today.

I think the whole world was screaming at Rob to take the money today. The Banker was giving him every opportunity to go home with a large amount of money by keep sticking. Unusual for him. But I'm sure it was out of respect for Rob as one of our brave Firemen who continually risk their lives for us.
But when that gamblers mind takes over, all caution goes with the wind unfortunately, and losses occur.

This game is a lesson for us all.

Hi Welf. Our dog is an Alsatian with some husky. I like to tell people his mother had a touch of husky in her. He is almost 12 and has started to slow down now quite a bit. He's very affectionate, and like your dog, follows 'him indoors' everywhere. Even to the loo and stands there watching. Labs' are gorgeous aren't they? I've always liked them. Trouble is when you have these pets they tear your heart out when their time comes. He's our 4th (not Alsatian) and we inherited him from our son when his marriage broke up. She didn't want our boy any more, or 'Major'. So we have him.
So pleased to hear your erection has gone to plan, will you finish (it) soon :?:
Perhaps you should invite us all to your erection party. When do you think that will be :?:
Regards. Tw'dee

(Flutters eyelids demurely) I don't know what you two are talking about with all this election talk. There you are! I can't even spell it, I'm so innocent. But I'll come to the party.

Oh, and I have a cat who follows me everywhere. If I shut the bathroom door he plays up outside to get in there with me. So bathroom door is always open. His name is Ziggy and is about 14 years old. He was a rescue cat, and 2years old when we first met. His previous owner, a young woman, wanted to move in with her boy-friend and he said "no cats". So she dumped Ziggy in a cats home. :x I'd have dumped the bloke myself!!!! Someone who doesn't like animals has something important missing from their character, as far as I'm concerned. So Ziggy and me have been together for 12 years. He's on a diet at the moment as he's gained some weight these past years. A bit like me, you could say!

I'd always had dogs before. A mongrel called Judy. Then a pug called Chopper (after the cartoon character). After that it was a miniature Poodle called Trixie. Then nothing for a while until Ziggy. I decided that a cat would be easier for me to handle as I'm growing older. None of those daily walks etc.

Dave's game.

I was surprised when Noel said yesterday's game was "a lesson to be learned by the players", because that's just what I said last night. :D So sad though. Another good man in a risky job protecting the public, with a lovely family, going away with peanuts. It's an unfair world, isn't it.

Hi Tw'dee

The erection of the GREENHOUSE is finished well almost I'll explain. I was putting in the glass today and the side glass panels are about 5' high by 2' wide. I was carrying them one by one from my garage to the greenhouse and fitting them I was using those sucker things to pick them up and to carry them which are very good anyway I was carrying the 6th panel when suddenly it went BANG and shattered and I was surrounded by glass. I wasn't hurt or anything but don't know what happened as I didn't hit anything or bang the glass against anything.
I thought that toughened glass was suppose to be strong

So I have to order anew pane of glass so the party is on hold I'm afraid ladies.

Best wishes
From a shaky frightened little Welf

Thank goodness you are not hurt, Welf. Ok, so the party is on hold for now. I'll try to be patient. :(

Hi Jenks.

Sorry but I have no idea how those things work (I am bit thick and need to be brought up to the twenty first century) although I am registered or so my son tells me so I'm afraid I won't be able to chat to you there but nice to hear from you again.

Best wishes

Welf

Good morning Jenks,

I wrote to you on Face Book, as you requested, but so far all you replied was "How do I know you?". And when I told you you never wrote back again. :?:  'It's a funny old world!!!'

Sunshine :)
